AI MODERNIZATION STRATEGY

AI Won't Replace You.
Your Competitor Who Uses It Better Will.

Mark T. Evans helps leadership teams turn operational drag into automated precision - using AI strategy, behavioral science, and 40+ years of Microsoft ecosystem mastery. The question isn't whether to modernize. It's how fast your competitors already are.

"The businesses that win the next decade won't be the ones with the most AI. They'll be the ones who deploy it with the most clarity. I help you get there."

Who I Am

"I'm Mark T. Evans — founder and CEO of ShareTech Solutions, and a Fractional Chief AI Officer for businesses and nonprofits across the Washington, DC region."

"Forty years in enterprise technology, including my years at Microsoft, taught me one thing that hasn't changed: technology only matters when it solves a real problem for real people. I've spent my career translating complex systems into practical outcomes — and now I do it with AI."

"I'm also a Rotarian of more than 30 years. Service, stewardship, and integrity aren't add-ons to how I work. They're the operating system underneath it."

How I Help

"Most businesses don't have an AI problem. They have a connection problem."

"Missed calls. Slow follow-up. Leads that fill out a form and never hear back. Manual admin eating your team's week. Microsoft licenses you're paying for and barely using. The tools are already on the table — they're just not talking to each other, and revenue leaks through every gap."

"That's where I come in. I help you find the leaks, quantify what they're costing you, and deploy AI systems that close them:"

  • "Speed-to-lead & Voice AI that answers, captures, and follows up when you can't"
  • "Connected Microsoft 365 & Power Platform workflows that end the manual busywork"
  • "ShareTech Hub to run your leads, follow-up, and operations in one place"

"No trend-chasing. No 18-month roadmaps. Just systems that capture revenue you're already losing."

"The fastest way to see it: AI Efficiency Assessment. We map your operation, find the leaks, and you leave with a clear plan — whether you build it with me or not."

"Call or text 703-929-1451 — Zoe can help you find a time."

How I Help!

Here's what most AI consultants won't tell you: most of them don't actually build.

I do. And I'll show you.

I make decisions through a lens of faith. Over the years I built a simple framework for it — and then I turned that framework into an AI tool anyone can use. I didn't build it to sell you anything. I built it because it matters to me, and I think it might help you too.

Philanthropic Giving & Connection

Service Is the Point

I've been a Rotarian for more than 30 years, and community service isn't something I do on the side — it's the thread through everything. Through Rotary and my work with nonprofits across the region, I've seen what happens when good organizations get the right systems behind them: they serve more people, prove their impact, and stop losing time to manual work.

That's why I give nonprofits the same strategic attention I give my enterprise clients. A mission that runs efficiently reaches further.

Let's Connect

Whether you're a business losing leads, a nonprofit stretched thin, or a Microsoft customer sitting on tools you're not using — I'd like to help you see the path forward clearly.

THE VISIBILITY PROBLEM

Bleeding Time, Revenue, and Talent

Your teams are buried in manual processes. Your CRM is half-empty. Leads slip through the cracks because follow-up takes hours instead of seconds. Reports that should take minutes take days.

This isn't a technology problem. It's a visibility problem. You can't fix what you can't see. And while you attempt to locate the leak, your competitors have already deployed an AI agent that executes your entire daily workflow before they finish their morning coffee.

Strategic Differentiation

Mark T. Evans is not a technology vendor, IT shop, outsourced technical support, or implementation labor. He is a strategic modernization partner operating at the intersection of AI strategy, Microsoft ecosystem optimization, cybersecurity governance, and organizational change leadership. That intersection is where modernization actually succeeds – and where most initiatives fail.

What makes that intersection work is not method alone. It is judgment — and judgment is a matter of character.

Mark operates from principles that do not move with the market: integrity, stewardship, and service. Thirty years of Rotary leadership and a faith-guided conscience have made those the fixed points he navigates by.

He treats every engagement as a trust. Clients are not accounts to be closed; they are people and missions to be strengthened. Success is measured by whether the organization he touches emerges more capable, more resilient, and better able to serve those who depend on it.

That is the difference a moral compass makes. It is why the work holds.

The North Star

Mark T. Evans has spent forty years learning how technology can serve people — and a lifetime learning that people are the point.

His North Star is simple: leave every person, business, and community stronger than he found it. Technology is only ever the instrument. The purpose is human — clarity where there was confusion, capacity where there was strain, and dignity restored to work that used to drain the people doing it.

That conviction was not built in a boardroom. It was built across three decades of Rotary service, in nonprofit and community work, and in a faith that measures a life by what it gives rather than what it gathers. It is why he brings the same rigor to a struggling nonprofit that he brings to an enterprise — because impact should not be reserved for those who can pay the most for it.

He builds AI so that good organizations can do more good. He gives his time so the communities that shaped him keep their footing. And he holds himself to one standard above all: that the work — and the man behind it — can be trusted.

That is the North Star. Everything else is just the route.

The Human Systems Differentiator

Every firm in this market optimizes technology. Mark optimizes the human system the technology was built to serve.

That distinction is everything. Most modernization efforts fail not because the software is wrong, but because the system around it — the workflows, the decisions, the hand-offs, the people expected to adopt it — was never engineered. A tool dropped into a broken process only makes the breakage faster.

Mark engineers both sides at once: the technical architecture and the human system that has to run it. AI that fits how people actually work. Automation that removes friction instead of adding another login. Change an organization can absorb, not just install.

The result is modernization that holds after the consultant leaves — because it was built around people, not bolted on top of them.

How We Enter

We do not enter with a product. We enter with a diagnosis.

Before a single recommendation, we map how your organization actually runs — where revenue leaks, where hours disappear, where the tools you already pay for sit idle. We put a dollar figure on it. Then, and only then, do we talk about what to build.

That entry point is the AI Automation Assessment: scoped to your organization, no obligation.. You leave with a clear, quantified roadmap — and it is yours to keep, whether you implement it with us or with anyone else.

Diagnosis before prescription. It is how good medicine works. It is how lasting modernization works too.

Five Assessment Layers

The five assessment layers that differentiate the AI Automation Assessment from every other firm in the market:

  • Revenue & Lead Capture — Where leads, calls, and follow-ups are leaking today, and what each gap is costing you every month.

  • Operational Workflow — The manual work, spreadsheet chaos, and disconnected tools quietly draining your team's hours.

  • Microsoft Ecosystem Utilization — The Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot capability you already pay for and aren't using.

  • Data, Security & Governance — Your visibility, permissions, and security posture — the risks that surface the moment you scale.

  • AI Readiness & Human Adoption — Whether your people and processes are ready to adopt AI, and what it takes to make it stick.

Assessment Deliverables

The AI Efficiency Assessment is not a sales call in disguise. It is a working engagement that produces a tangible, quantified plan you own.

You walk away with:

A quantified leak analysis — the specific dollar cost of missed calls, slow follow-up, lost leads, and manual work in your operation today.

A five-layer findings report — a clear read on revenue capture, workflow, Microsoft utilization, security and governance, and AI readiness.

A prioritized roadmap — quick wins separated from long-term architecture, sequenced by impact.

A recommended build plan — what belongs in ShareTech Hub, what belongs in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, and what to automate first.

Clear next steps — precise enough to execute with us, with your own team, or with another vendor entirely.

That last point matters: the roadmap is yours to keep. The assessment stands on its own — the clarity alone is worth more than the fee.

Pricing is on a sliding scale, matched to the size and complexity of your organization. And in many cases, when you engage us for implementation, your assessment investment is credited back against development hours. You pay for clarity you'd need regardless — and often recover it entirely.

There is one way to begin: call. 703-929-1451 — tell us what your operation looks like, and we'll scope your assessment on the call. Zoe can help you find a time.

My Pillars

  • Technology serves people — or it fails. Every system Mark builds starts with the human it's meant to help. AI that fits how your team actually works is AI that gets used — and AI that gets used is the only kind that pays.

  • Find the leak before you sell the fix. Most firms lead with a product. Mark leads with a diagnosis — a quantified picture of what your operation is losing right now — so every dollar you invest is aimed at a problem you can measure.

  • A partner, not a vendor. You get judgment you can trust with the decisions that matter, credentials built over forty years, and a standard of integrity carried from three decades of service. The relationship is the product.

How We Partner

We don't take on clients. We take on partners.

A vendor sells you something and moves on. A partner has a stake in whether it actually works. That difference shapes everything about how we engage — from an assessment priced to your reality, to a roadmap you own outright, to an implementation where our fee is tied to your outcome, not just our hours.

When our incentives are aligned with your results — including crediting your assessment back into the work itself — you can trust that the recommendation you're getting is the one that's right for you, not the one that's easiest for us to sell.

That is what partnership means here. Your success is the only metric that counts.

M&A INTELLIGENCE

AI Modernization Changes Your Multiplier

Abstract geometric visual representing AI-driven enterprise value

Selling: Command a Higher Valuation

Buyers in 2026 pay premiums for businesses that run on intelligent, automated systems. A company with documented workflows, clean data architecture, and measurable operational KPIs commands a significantly higher valuation multiple than one running on manual processes and tribal knowledge.

  • Automated workflows mapped and documented
  • Clean, governed data architecture
  • Quantified workforce productivity

Acquiring: Eliminate Integration Friction

The number one reason acquisitions fail to deliver projected value is integration drag. Different systems, differing cultures, and disconnected data mean 18 months of painful consolidation before seeing any return.

Our behavioral science-driven AI assessment connects disparate systems and aligns workflows to deliver measurable productivity gains in the first quarter—replacing assumption with operational precision.

  • Cross-system data integration
  • Immediate productivity gains

How I Come to Biblical Decisions

Every meaningful decision I've made — in business, in service, in life — I've run through the same quiet process. It isn't complicated. It's just consistent.

  • Name what I'm actually deciding. Most of the weight of a decision comes from not being honest about what it really is. I start by putting it plainly.
  • Take it to scripture — not the other way around. I don't go looking for a verse to justify what I already want. I sit with the principles first — wisdom, stewardship, honesty, love, service — and let them shape the question.
  • Pray for clarity, not just an outcome. I've learned to ask for wisdom to see clearly more than for a specific result. The clarity almost always arrives before the answer does.
  • Seek wise counsel. Proverbs is right — there's safety in it. I bring the decision to people I trust.
  • Sit in stillness. A few decisions need speed. Most need a night's sleep and a quiet morning.
  • Act, then trust. Once it's clear, I move — and I don't second-guess what I brought honestly before God.

That process is the reason The Prayer Architect exists. I built the tool to walk you through it.

The Prayer Architect

Some decisions you can spreadsheet your way through. Others, you carry.

This tool is for the ones you carry.

Tell it what's on your heart — a decision, a burden, a person, a fear. It helps you shape a prayer grounded in scripture and centered on clarity, so you can bring it honestly and set it down.

There's nothing to buy here and nothing to sign up for. Use it as often as you need.

How I Built It

For the curious.

The Prayer Architect runs on the same kind of AI system I build for clients every day: a multi-step pipeline that takes what you write, grounds it in a library of scripture and principle, and shapes a response that's thoughtful rather than generic.

I built it in a weekend. That's the point.

The same approach — capture, ground, respond — is exactly how I build voice AI that answers your missed calls, agents that qualify your leads, and workflows that run your operation while you sleep. If a personal prayer tool can do this, picture what it does for a business.
